Candidates are recruited through nominations from our advisors and mentors, and are vetted by coaches.
Our coaches work closely with mentees to create robust career plans, provide basic info, proactively network and find opportunities.
We pair mentors based on their interests and who they are best positioned to help.
Impact ⟶
Provide targeted and specific feedback to mentees (rather than general advice).
Help increase the pool of people interested in scope-sensitive biosecurity work.
Find potential collaborators and hires.
Expectations ⟶
Mentor commitments are flexible, typically ~0-1 hours per month. We make introductions on a rolling basis.
During our pilot period, we expect to make fewer connections as we are capping our pilot round to ~20 mentees.
